RACHEL C.
THE SNATCHER
Conceived by a two-man team in 2011 by Joycelyn Ong and I, the Snatcher is a Final Year Project film about an orphaned girl who is one day spirited into a magical circus world where she meets quirky characters and perhaps... her parents? The film is entirely hand-drawn traditionally and was compiled and coloured in Adobe Photoshop, while Adobe Premier Pro and Aftereffects were used to edit and give life to scenes through CGI.
My major roles in the film include character designer (the Villain and Side Characters), lead colourist (Characters and Backgrounds) and scriptwriter. I also contributed to the secondary animation (Villain and Side Characters) in certain scenes. Catch the film above!
